Terms of Service

Last updated: August 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

This website is owned and operated by Valley Route Logistics LLC. By accessing this website, requesting a quote, accepting an estimate, scheduling a delivery, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to request services on behalf of yourself or an organization

2. Courier Services

Valley Route Logistics LLC provides courier and delivery services throughout California, including same-day delivery, medical courier service, legal document delivery, recurring routes, long-distance courier service, and customized logistics.

A delivery is confirmed only after Valley Route Logistics LLC provides written confirmation, the customer accepts an official estimate, and any required payment has been received.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer, including pickup and delivery locations, distance, timing, package details, number of stops, and any special handling requirements.

Unless otherwise stated, estimates are valid for seven calendar days. Final charges may change if the service details change or if additional mileage, stops, waiting time, parking fees, tolls, return trips, or special handling are required.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide complete and accurate pickup, delivery, contact, package, and handling information. Items must be legally owned or possessed, properly packaged, accurately described, and safe to transport.

Customers are responsible for informing Valley Route Logistics LLC of time-sensitive requirements, access instructions, known risks, and any legally required handling conditions before the delivery is accepted.

5. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Customers may not request transportation of illegal goods or items that cannot legally be possessed or transported.

Hazardous materials, controlled substances, firearms, cash, live animals, temperature-controlled materials, biological materials, or other regulated items will not be accepted unless Valley Route Logistics LLC has agreed in writing and the transportation is legally permitted.

Valley Route Logistics LLC may refuse any item or delivery request that presents a safety, legal, regulatory, or operational concern.

6. Medical and Confidential Deliveries

Valley Route Logistics LLC is a courier company and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or healthcare services.

Customers should not submit patient names, diagnoses, medical records, test results, or other protected health information through the general website forms. Any necessary confidential information must be exchanged using an approved method arranged directly with Valley Route Logistics LLC.

Customers are responsible for properly packaging, labeling, and disclosing the handling requirements of medical, legal, or confidential materials.

7. Cancellation Policy

A customer who cancels before a driver has been dispatched will receive a refund of the service payment.

If a delivery is canceled after the driver has been dispatched but before the item has been picked up, Valley Route Logistics LLC may retain a minimum cancellation fee of $35, plus any mileage, waiting time, tolls, parking fees, or other expenses already incurred. Any remaining prepaid balance will be refunded.

Once an item has been picked up, the full quoted service charge is due. Additional charges may apply if the item must be returned, redirected, stored, or delivered to a different location.

Valley Route Logistics LLC may waive or adjust cancellation charges at its discretion.

8. Pickup, Delivery and Proof of Delivery

Customers must ensure that an authorized person is available at the pickup and delivery locations unless other arrangements have been confirmed in writing.

Proof of delivery may include the recipient’s name, signature, photograph, timestamp, delivery confirmation, or other appropriate documentation. If delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, restricted access, unsafe conditions, or another issue outside our control, additional waiting, redelivery, or return charges may apply.

9. Payment Terms

Unless Valley Route Logistics LLC approves different payment terms in writing, new, one-time, and same-day customers must pay the quoted service amount before a driver is dispatched.

Estimates, invoices, deposits, and payment requests may be issued and processed through Square or another approved payment provider. A delivery is not confirmed for dispatch until the required payment has been received.

Additional mileage, stops, waiting time, parking fees, tolls, return trips, special handling, or customer-requested changes may be invoiced separately after the delivery.

Approved recurring commercial customers may be permitted to use a card on file, recurring billing, or written invoice terms. A stored payment method will be charged only with the customer’s authorization.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the customer's bank or payment provider.

10. Loss, Damage and Claims

Customers should promptly report concerns regarding loss, damage, or delivery service by emailing info@valleyroutellc.com with delivery details and supporting documentation.

Valley Route Logistics LLC is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging, inaccurate descriptions, undisclosed characteristics, normal deterioration, inherent defects, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Any separately signed service agreement, accepted estimate, insurance provision, or written contract will control if it conflicts with these website Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Valley Route Logistics LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business, or loss of opportunity.

Except where prohibited by law or agreed otherwise in writing, our total liability arising from a particular delivery will not exceed the amount paid for the affected service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

12. Delays and Events Outside Our Control

Pickup and delivery times are estimates unless a guaranteed time has been expressly accepted in writing.

Valley Route Logistics LLC is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, vehicle emergencies, accidents, natural disasters, government actions, incorrect customer information, unavailable recipients, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays and complete the delivery safely.
